Marc Richard is an author of horror, love stories, science fiction, and literary fiction that is otherwise unclassifiable. He even authored a semi-autobiographical novel about Borderline Personality Disorder. He promises something to read for every interest. All of his novels are peppered and spiced with his dark, twisted sense of humor. Originally hailing from Rumford Maine, he calls Portland Maine his home. Marc Richard It's very easy to get discouraged when you put your book(s) out there, and there are no sales, no reviews, no feedback except for a few family members…moreIt's very easy to get discouraged when you put your book(s) out there, and there are no sales, no reviews, no feedback except for a few family members, and maybe some friends (if you have some friends). Spend some time marketing. There are tons of places to go promote your book for free or for money, and marketing can be a full-time job in itself. That being said, it is also easy to get discouraged when you put time and money into that and you still don't see results right away. Don't fret. It takes time for results to show. Don't think of it as a career. It's something you should enjoy doing. If you truly believe you have something valuable, people will read it. Focus on having fun.(less)

I finally decided to get some therapy and was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. While going through my journal that I was forced to write in, I thought, "Hey, this would make a great book!" Then I wove a fictitious story in there, and I think it worked pretty well(less)
