I'm noticing a disturbing trend when it comes to authors offering their books for read-to-review. Some of them seem to forget that while they are supplying a free book, the reader still is doing them a favor! That might be something to consider when listing all the "rules and regulations" that must be met before the book will be gifted. What gives the author the right to tell potential readers what they can or can't say about the book? And who are they to then issue threats that if the reviewer doesn't say the right thing they won't be provided a copy of the next part of the trilogy? Maybe it's just me but I think that's ridiculous and extremely off putting. I actually screamed at my computer when I read this last one. I won't write what I said, though, because it wasn't cute! hahahaha

You down? lol"See, this is why I can't finish reading or writing! ha,ha,ha My poor little kindle app is about to explode because I've downloaded so much stuff. I want to read another one with you guys but I'm gonna have to pass this time. I REALLY need to focus on getting Love's Choice done. And Love's Fool 2 is in the works as well. All the requests (and demands ha,ha,ha) for a sequel must have awaken Madeline and her crew. Hopefully I'll be able to read with you all again soon.
So do you want to check out Karma 2? We might as well go ahead and knock it out. I'm curious to know what Micky plans to do to get revenge. Come on, Diamond D, let's read it! You down? lol
Diamond D, I got another freebie for us to try. It's called What Wendy Wants and it's free on amazon. Let me know if you want to read it. I'll tell Kay and Shema too.

I'm so thankful you enjoyed my books. I will definitely have to thank Kay. She and her sister have helped me a lot by spreading the word and I really appreciate it. Thanks so much for being willing to give me a chance. I will most definitely take the encouragement and excitement into finishing my next book and see if I can get some more tears out of you!!!! HA,HA,HA!!! Thanks again.

Ti'Africia wrote: "When is your next book dropping?"I'd hoped for September, but I'm so far behind at this point that I don't know if that's doable. I'm working on it, though! It's called Love's Choice and will introduce a new cast of characters--The Haughtons. I love them! ha,ha,ha.
Hi diamondI see your friends with Katrina p Williams. I sent you one recommendation from her but be sure to read "grandpas courtship" also by her. Cute southern love story.
Hey, Diamond...thanks for the invite into your circle of friends...looking forward to sharing chats and reading your reviews...Happy Reading & Writing :-)
Well, Love's Fool didn't win the big prize in the Indie Author contest. It placed third (an honorable mention) but you know what . . . I'm STILL fired up about it!!!! There were over 300 entrants in the African American category so third ain't too shabby! ha,ha,ha I want to say thank you to my new goodreads family. It was your encouragement and wonderful reviews and comments that gave me the confidence to enter Love's Fool and For the Love of Jade. I've never participated in a contest before so to win the International Book Award for one and an honorable mention in the other, shoot, I'm stoked! Big hugs and kisses to all of you for your support. It means the world to me.

Well, here we go . . . to all of you who were kind enough to enter my giveaway for two copies of Love's Fool, the results are in! I'm not sure if you received my updated invitation shortening the length of the giveaway but it ended today. I couldn't think of a fairer way to do it than to drop your names in a box and have my husband draw two names. So that's what I did. And the winners are . . . drum roll please . . . Pamela Sarratt and Cocoa Faye!!! Yay!!! Don't fret, those of you whose name wasn't pulled out of my Weight Watchers potato crisps box (ha,ha,ha). You can still read Love's Fool for free! Just visit www.romancenovelsincolor.com under "free reads" and you can download your very own copy. Thanks again for entering and happy reading!
Jay wrote: "Hey Diamond D. I haven't been on here in a minute. What's up? I was scrolling through the pages and I was wondering if you get irritated when ppl be on here making crazy ass comments about your boo..."Ha,ha,ha. Girl, no, I don't think of it as crazy, I guess. It's just someone's opinion. I know I'm not going to please everyone. I listen for the things that will help me or something I hear more than a couple of times. Other than that, I don't trip about it. I always think there's a difference between someone being constructive to aid me in being a better writer and just commenting.
Okay, Jay, I've got to run my kid to school. I'm looking forward to the book club!
