P. Pra. Sandhyaya, B.Ed., is a nonfiction writer who explores the impact of the digital world on people's lives in the realms of family, psychology, and society at large. Sandhyaya believes that writing is a space to ask questions, not just give answers. And each of her

“In the digital age, the strongest defense for children is not a firewall on their devices, but rather a brain circuit strengthened by silence and real connections.”

P. Sandhyaya I used to feel proud when my son sat quietly and didn't talk much.
“Sweet boy,” people would say.
But as it turned out, he was harboring feelings. He was quiet not because he was at peace, but because he was confused, anxious, and afraid of being wrong.

Today I learned: a child's silence is not always a sign of peace. Sometimes, it's a request to be heard.

Have you ever thought your child is “fine” when in fact, they are not?
