Kirk Voclain is a South Louisiana novelist and long-time professional photographer based in Houma. For more than forty years he has photographed high school seniors, real estate, and commercial clients while teaching working pros.

Kirk does for a living what most call a hobby (photography), and he does for a hobby what most call a living (writing).

His debut thriller, Double Exposure, blends art and espionage: a camera, a confident stride, and doors start opening. His romance, Boots and Stilettos, leans into character, setting, and heart. Different shelves, same goal: authentic stories that move fast and land true.

“If a lens can find the truth, a lie cannot hide for long.”

During all that time, I have been writing my book Double Exposure in my mind. All that time, different things would happen and various situations and experiences as a photographer I would say things like, THIS NEEDS TO GO IN THE BOOK. When I actually sat down and started writing this Novel, all of those experiences came back to me and I did put them in the book. So, for me, I am all over this novel. Exp. the Main Character, Reed Sawyer. Even his girl friend "Tammy" is actually my wife. This Novel was so much fun to write.(less)

What Readers Are Saying About Double Exposure By Kirk Voclain

What Readers Are Saying About Double ExposureEarly Reviews And Reader Reactions

Kirk Voclain Double Exposure reviews, great reading. When I first released Double Exposure, I hoped readers would connect with a spy who hides in plain sight behind a camera. An espionage thriller with photography at it’s core. What I did not expect was how many people would comment on the realism, the slow burn tens
