Title change Revelation
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
I've decided to cut the title of my upcoming book from A Book of Revelation to Revelation because it's catchier and more ambiguous. The original title smacked of biblical overtones which could go against the book and label it as Christian. The subject matter is, admittedly, about the biblical Jesus and Christianity but in a modern setting with supernatural undertones. I see Revelation as more of a dark apocalyptic tale of tragic irony.

Revelation
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
Revelation is proving to be a difficult book to tease out of itself. It's one of those books that looks good from a distance (as in I know what happens over the large arc) but look at the rainbow a little closer and you will find another very faint rainbow below the mother rainbow.
Character motives are proving a challenge. I like unreliable characters but this is an illusion as the characters MUST be reliable to the author...then the author creates the illusion of unreliability. The writer has to rely on their characters for good or for bad, is this not the case? It's true that characters surprise us during the writing of the book, but at the end of the day, the character must be realistic in his/her motives.
Revelation is a book-in-progress that I've set aside more than once, but for some reason I'm drawn back to it - maybe a sign I should finish it. It's very dear to my heart and soul...but I'm not sure why.

Revelation update
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
Never thought I'd be writing a Christian story. I'm not religious but very interested in the history of religion, more specifically the historical Jesus versus the supernatural one. Writing this book will ask for a suspension of disbelief from my readers, but I have found that it is therapeutic and strangely comforting to know that fiction can provide miracles when the world and humanity seems to be on the verge of breaking down.

Lockdown lullaby and Microscopic Monsters
Hi
I've been in lockdown quarantine in my house 4 weeks now and, as far as lockdowns go, it's been quite a cosy one. The good news is that this very coronavirus lockdown has inspired my writing and has helped in the writing of Revelation. As a matter of fact, I can include this very real pandemic into this fictional novel.
Please, keep up and keep strong if you are in quarantine (and you probably should be) and let's beat this motherfuking microscopic monster that has brought the word to its knees
