Take your own advice and get over yourself. That kind of comment was a bit over the top and name calling was not necessary.

I'm sure there are books suited for others and some not. If This Man is too "light" for you, then I'm sure there are darker books more suited for your tastes.
I love how seriously people are taking my comment. People are not just weak with books but words as well. All of you get over yourselves.
Dude, I was just trying to say that everyone has different tastes. I didn't tell you to get lost or anything. I got that your comment was meant to be light and fun, but there's no need to comment more and make an argument over this. We're all here to enjoy books anyway.
Is abusive romance something people really enjoy to the point where they make lists about the best books in that 'genre'?..The only dark and twisted thing I see here is the list itself.
It's fiction, it's escapism. I don't see why you have to judge someones character over something they fantasize or are curious about. It's harmless. And now I will play video games and shoot up my community because you know...I never read This Man but I would prefer weak books to be removed from list.

most of the romance out there belongs on this list. Its always alpha bad boy meets plucky yet insecure good girl or not so bad bad-girl.
Alpha spend rest of book stalking heroine, intimidating rivals, and telling her she belongs to him. I'm not against that sort of thing in books I'm just in favor of calling it what it is.
