The character struggles with self-esteem and has a body image disorder such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, anorexia athletica, orthorexia, or any other sort of dysfunctional behaviour around fixated eating and/or exercising.

Thank you, Emma! I look forward to your further thoughts!
I'm always drawn to struggles that men have compounded due to gender prejudice, such as domestic violence and, as this list reflects, eating disorders.
I was on a webby for eating disorders (http://mengetedstoo.co.uk/stories/per...), looking up information about men and eating disorders, reading the "personal stories" section, and immediately thought an m/m romance could give these issues life.

Any opinions?

I added it to avoid you having to vote for it as author. Definitely meets the criteria.

Several of the books that occurred to me involved cutting which seemed in the same kind of spirit, but were not specifically eating disorders.

Hi, Niki, your het book is off the list now. Sorry for any confusion. <3 Well wishes to you.
