Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Louise Phillips Gosh, that is a hard question to answer. I guess, despite being a crime writer where bad things often happen, at heart, I'm a romantic. For me, it is Noah and Allie from The Notebook. The movie was a big hit for Warner Brothers, but the book, written by Nicolas Sparks, is based on a true story. I do believe in love for life. The joy, love and tenderness, from Noah, in his undying love for Allie, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease in later life, is extremely touching. My mother had this terrible disease, and I loved her dearly, even on the days that she didn't remember who I was. I hope this answers your question. Louise
