I asked my brother to buy a copy of this book for christmas and since I gave offerings to Hekate & meditated I keep seeing a lot of information about Hekate & people specifically talking about this book online, on Tiktok, it's everywhere.
I will take this as a sign from Hekate that she wants to work with me 😊

My review will be for the paperback of the book.
I started reading this book and so far the author hasn't mentioned very specific things that are associated with the Greek, Chthonic Goddess Hekate such as-Necromancy, divination was practiced in caves in ancient Rome/Greece during the Roman Empire Era.
Liminal spaces (in-between spaces) crossroads are associated with Hekate, she protects dogs and very specific types of animals are associated with her, she is associated with the dead, since Necromancy is death magick and involves invoking the dead, practicing divination of future events because people wanted to know the outcome of various types of events or situations.
Curses tablets were created and left in caves as well, it was a very common practice at the time.
Recently a temple or altar for Hekate was found in Turkey, the head of a statue of Medusa and a temple or altar for Aphrodite were found.
The dark Goddesses are reimagining into reality and more people feel drawn to them, want to study and learn about them.
Hekate is associated with the dead, Necromancy/Necromantic Rites.
The author waffles on about irrelevant things for awhile, which is a bit tedious and boring to read but I appreciate the history and the accurate historical information about Hekate, it's helpful to know.
Hekate has always been a misunderstood, misinterpreted Chthonic Greek Goddess, she isn't evil, but if you disrespect her, she will be offended, rightfully so, she has the right to choose who she will work with.
I am reading this book about Hekate before I purchase and read The Hekatean Grimoire which is an in depth Grimoire about working with the Goddess Hekate.
I recommend this Hekatean Grimoire if you are a witch and you want to work with Hekate. ...more "
