A slow burn for sure, but it got really good towards the middle. I could only imagine how those babies felt being kidnapped and than trapped in a collapsing dirt whole. And to think this is based on a true story.

S.A. Cosby is quickly becoming my favorite authors. I have yet to read a book from him that disappointed me. I could not put this book down, it kept me intrigued from beginning to end.

Kiara’s story? Heavy. Like the kind of heavy that doesn’t just stay on the page—it follows you around a little. She’s so young, and yet she’s out here making impossible decisions just to survive, not live… survive. And that part messed with me bad.

I hope to never, ever be as dumb as Roz and Angel. The way they pissed me off with all of the crying and dramatics. Like girls, lets be so fcking for real. However, that cliffhanger.!? Immediately grabbing the 3rd book.

Listen. This book had me quietly minding my business… and then that plot twist came out of nowhere and left my jaw on the floor.
We Don’t Talk About Carol pulls you into a story about family, secrets, and generational silence — and it does it in a way that feels intimate and real.

Oh my! The secrets, the suspense, the twist and turns. I can't say enough. Go read it!

So far, it’s really good.
