Oh my god! I just figured out that there ARE two series! Face off and face off legacy! I’m an idiot! Lol I bought 1 and 2 from the face off legacy and 3 and 4 from the face off series. It all makes much more sense now

There was no Facebook back then....ughhhh this is so frustrating.

I’m not sure why the parents didn’t have a series that segued into the kids. My problem is that it’s written as if it’s happening today. This guy says “thank god for google” but google wasn’t a thing when these people would have been I. Their 20’s. It’s so hard to read it the way it’s written knowing that this actually took place at least 20 years ago

Ughhh.... I’m seriously pushing myself to keep reading. So freaking slow and a little all over the place and a whole lot corny. So over it.

I really, really liked this book. It could have been a little more gritty...the climax could have been a bit more dramatic, but still...it was a very good book.

Good conclusion to Tommy and Beth. I liked the book, but the story was almost too hard to believe. I love getting to escape into books, but I also like to pretend the story could happen in real life...still a good book overall.

I'm a quarter of the way through...and this is just stupid. The writing style is bad and the miscommunication doesn't make sense...at all.

Ok, crazy girlish high school book aside. The every other line being internal monologue is annoying. Writing from two perspectives should give us enough insight for the character. Why does every sentence have to be followed by an internal thought?

Honestly the book should have ended already. They found her fathers killer, but now we move to another issue...Lauren. Dear god, there is WAAAAAAY too much going on in this book. I think the author should have stuck to one or two of the little mysteries and expounded on those.

I guess I'm in the minority. This book has great ratings, but I'm just not feeling it. I am bored and confused. The writing is off and we go from one mystery to another without it really going together in any way. And the cheesiness...barf.

So far, and this is sad because it's the beginning of the book, I absolutely hate the writing style. Hopefully I will get into the flow and not notice how it goes from blow by blow action first person -as if it it happening as we go along to more of a storytelling feel of second person and back again. Technically it's still all first person, but the context changes back and forth frequently. Yuck.

Oh my god! Please get to the end of this! Dumbest book I've read in a while. Really wishing I didn't have OCD when it comes to finishing something. If I was normal, I would have stopped reading this crap eons ago.

Well, it finally started to get better....but once again it's stale. Nothing much happening.

So bored!

Why am I reading this when the first one wasn't that impressive? Well, because i bought them at the same time and it's too late to get a refund. Also, Abe is a more interesting character, so I am crossing my fingers that this is a better book.

I can't wait for this book to be over. I am bored out of my mind. All the "conflicts" are pretty juvenile.

This story is being told from about 5 different perspectives so it's extremely hard to follow.
