Teeza losing her memories is such a plot device and there's some inconsistencies so far like when Ibbsin told Teeza that Naia already knows her true identity but then here she is having doubts forgetting what she heard a few days ago.

Chapter 6 is so rushed and cringey... Like the writing quality went down a LOT here. The age gap and the development is so messy. Both Ramir and Teeza seem like they're not the same ppl from the previous chapters. Also the moment I read about Naia not wanting Fares to stop hugging her I had an inkling the romance will be cringey...

I don't really like how she jumps from man to man. Ig being forgotten makes you want to be close to anyone who's interested with you. And they get physical really quick too. But I still like the writing for this scene. It's passionate and intimate and not in a dirty way. I'm happy Addie can feel real physical intimacy for the first time.

Reread some chapters but the way Henry and Addie getting to know each other is weird. Like all this uncomfortable feeling being seen by someone who just stole something from your shop and then you proceed to go on longer dates is diabolical.

So far Julian is so ... Bland. I just don't know what kind of person he is. Like all I know is he's an artist and def likes Emma. Also that conversation ended weirdly because why would he say that out of nowhere. I mean ig it's Clare's lazy writing to make some obvious progress that they're both falling in love.

Show, not tell. What even is Jace good about, different from other Shadowhunters? Fighting? Maybe I just don't remember but so far he's never that special. If anything Clare forces Jace to look strong in such a lazy way like in CoHF when he was killing a lot of those Dark Shadowhunters he created some space (cringey btw). And now Clace are running an institute when not once their leadership ever been shown.
