There’s so many underwater caves in this book which is really fun but I’m panicking that the characters are testing out the air in each one with their LUNGS, like light a damn match to check for O2 at LEAST, or does magic cure suffocation????

Omg on re-read Winden is an even bigger victim than I realized, after all that with the weather and the demon plague and the monsters, they leave her outside the portal for safety which yes they totally almost died in there BUT that also meant she didn’t get to feast and party with carvahal once they got there
