There’s so many underwater caves in this book which is really fun but I’m panicking that the characters are testing out the air in each one with their LUNGS, like light a damn match to check for O2 at LEAST, or does magic cure suffocation????

Knowing what was going to happen, I tried to brace myself, but the Astendi situation is still so hysterically upsetting to me, the scale of it is less than what’s implied for the whole world but the sheer loss and hopelessness is unbelievable
