This is a DNF. The author's writing style isn't for me, but there is a loose mystery that I want to find the answer to. Which is why I dropped book 1 and picked up book 4. BTW, there is no way that Dutch and Cadence required a trilogy for their story, they're not that interesting.
Anyway, why did a teacher sleep with a student and later find out that they were step siblings. That seemed like something to figure out.

I've read two chapters this morning and it made my brain bleed. I think a better use of my time would be reading a few spoilerish reviews to get the answer. I just can't anymore with this author.
