The cover is total click bait and this is a very odd book. There's no sense of place or time, just relentless rain, heated, lingering looks and a fixation on kneeling/scarred hands.

Apart from Noah sketching Elias obsessively, nothing much happens.

May this book be expunged from my mind for all the reasons. The focus on the inconsequential - give the lilac bush (which isn't even in bloom yet) a rest.It's practically a sub plot at this point!

And the audacity to end at 91% on a cliffhanger when nothing has happened beyond the blurb - man signs a contract, gets pregnant, tedious mafia lite stuff happens is inexcusable. Interminable tripe.

Why isn't this over yet? The writing style is excruciating and nothing much happens.

That said I would ask how do you function if every two hours you have to express breast milk. What standard job allows you to have a 15-30 minute break every two hours and also gives you the privacy to get topless. Also difficult for a college student

And that's where I'm out because this loop is neverending. I don't know how many times Bell can be hurt and disappointed by Ethan's behaviour. Either commit properly and stop saying you will, but really stringing the other person along.

Ethan is closeted and his explanation is family and it's different for new generations because of better acceptance. However it's still challenging, so how does Bell do it when he's had a more challenging family life? How can Bell be unapologetically bi and Ethan can't reveal that he's gay even though it is tanking their relationship. Bell is more mature because he doesn't ignore needed discussion by using sex

I want to like this book but I feel like we are going around in circles without progression to a natural conclusion - addressing fears or breaking up. It must be equally as frustrating for Bell who is secretly dating closeted Ethan.
There's only so many times that you can introduce your boyfriend as your roommate or worse yet have to turn down a date because no one knows you're already in a relationship. Sad

This book is why I should read GR reviews prior to starting & I wouldn't waste my time like here. Something traumatic happened to the FMC on prom night (sounds like sexual assault), and a continuation of the bullying she suffered in high school because she wasn't popular. MMC was one of the popular guys who showed an interest but never stood up for her when it counted. He's now famous, back in town and wants her. DNF

That is so mean spirited that if I'd read that in the Kindle sample I wouldn't have downloaded the full book. This guy better not piss me off again or this will be an easy DNF

I wonder how an omega gets any work done if they are forever going into unexpected heat. You just not turn up to work for 3 days, how does that fly? Important plan? Sorry I didn't turn up to that important event or return that proof of life call, I was being knotted.

This lack of communication and constantly going around in circles is draining. Both MMC know that they find the other attractive, why can't they talk it out? Why the subterfuge, endless pinning and misplaced remorse?

This book literally hangs on the fact that both MMC who see each other everyday can't be honest with each other. They both fancy each other but won't act on it, thinking the other isn't interested. Just crazy.

Rathyn is so blunt. Got to love his areogance.

On reading the blurb you wouldn't expect to read a sweet and wholesome love story but that's what you have here amidst the numerous blow jobs. I'm going to miss these guys.

Stayed up late and got up early to read this book again, so worth it.

It's just after midnight and I should be going to sleep but a mere mention of this book and I'm back like an addict in its thrall. Yes it's 100% read but I'm going in for another turn and back to the beginning.

I'm not hating this but also not enjoying it. So far, the entire story has been driven by a language barrier (when they have a translator!) and incapability to explain clearly to the human what an omega is and their status on this alien ship.
The constant arguments and fights are wearing.

This is my Twin Read for June, a book we both had on our TBR. Usual tropes, family issues leads to fake dating and presumably real dating eventually
Obviously dead mum trumps divorced dad. Is Abbi going to get the dad back on the straight and narrow with a good talking to? Show him the error of his ways and make her the heroine of the story. Seems like it and Weston will love her for mending his family. Happy Days.
