I didn't know I could get more annoyed with this book, but here we are again: their wedding vows are pants. All the guys reminding her about her abusive past. There's lots of different ways they could reference how they met without making it sound like they're white knights saving her

They don't appear to do anything other than knot Mia. Fated mates aside, that must be boring. No interest or hobbies. Yikes. But given that they are condescending as hell and Mia is sentient as a box of rocks, it's working out A-OK.

They killed another pack when they were out numbered 3:1 and there's no update on that. Killed the pack hunting them and straight to sex. Not even a sentence to wrap it up. Obviously want her pregnant 24/7 and that's more important than surviving a blood bath and a tiny bit of reflection. More chit chat about how slick she is. Spare me.

I am astounded by the number of times she goes into heat and at the most inconvenient of situations. It is ludicrous. If you were flooding the place all the time you would get that sorted. In the middle of a life or death situation, she's cramped over looking to be knotted. Impossible to take seriously. But thanks for the laughs nevertheless

Why am I subjecting myself to this for the sake of a poorly executed mystery is beyond me.The book starts with them all banged up in hospital and all Willa can think about is how hot the Kings are despite their injuries. They move to an abandoned house and no effective regrouping, just more sex. I appreciate that endorphins from sex can help but really, it's not that effective for concussion & bullet wounds

Willa is a walking hormone. All she thinks about is sex and is in a constant state of arousal. Having breakfast, on the way to college, at her underwear birthday party.
Fantastic that the guys are hot, but come on, objectify much. Willa is always checking them out and thinking about having sex with one or more of them. Where is the girl she says she is or the guys reminisce on - the quiet girl who's always reading

I understand that Preston's abusive past has made him a controlling red flag factory. Thus there are some things you ignore, forgive and others not so much, because they rile. His aggression during sex can't be ignored and none more so than the scene when visiting Jeremy's grandparents. That was just disrespectful. Yes you have been dealt a shit hand but at least have some manners.

I laughed, got teary eyed and smiled at the perfect ending. What a great read for the realism but also the love

I had to take a break from reading around 30% because it was clear that Ilya was going through a crisis and that made me sad. When you're invested in characters and care about their wellbeing you know the author has done a good job. It's hard with no family, working in a foreign country and not being able to be public about who you are. Ilya is in a relationship with Shane and keeping it secret is taking a toll.

I registered for Booksprout yesterday and this book came up as a suggestion. Sounds like fun but is it really? Due to a run of bad choices I didn't want to get into a DNF with an ARC. To test the waters I read a sample of a previous book and loved it enough to stay up late and get up early to read. Knot Just Friends was excellent. I'm hoping this will be too

I feel like I'm reading a Barbara Cartland novel. I can't get over the distant retelling of what should be a momentous decision for both main characters. Where is the emotional resonance? And the cheating is glossed over. As if it doesn't matter because it's a plot driver to happy ever after. Nope. My Sunday deserves better than this. I'm out with no regrets. Why? Because the author hasn't enabled me to be invested

Reading back to back in this series and had to take a break especially as Ilya mental health is feeling really precarious right now. So much is going on. Changing teams, no longer on a winning side the pressure of hiding his relationship with Shane's. The perceived repercussions from NHL. Thoughts on his citizenship, lack of touch when they are together. It's a lot for a reader, the weight is perfectly conveyed

I'm not sure why I'm reading this book as I'm not enjoying it. Book 1 was almost as bad as this one. Bickering for no reason but what has really put me off is that there's no romance. Plus it's deeply unsexy calling your penis 'stallion'. MMC dirty talk is beyond lame. If this was real life any woman apart from FMC wouldn't be aroused, she'd be kicking his stallion and hoping it came up lame

I was doubled up laughing as if in pain because the scene where Hudson first met the family is excruciating. Fantastic fun for a book but if this was really a 'proper' relationship, you would be taking Gracie aside and signposting her to domestic abuse organisations.

Started the sample thinking it was in Kindle Unlimited but isn't, rookie mistake.
It's a bit meh thus not willing to pay to read this book, so will wait until the library has it in stock.
This guy though, gives options but are any of them reasonable. Die or be assaulted take your pick.

Another latent Beta who's turning into an omega. Go Omega, you get all the guys. I think I'm off dates mates for a while. Liked Book 1, Gave up on Book 2 and probably going to do the same for Book3 in this series. Hurrah for mouthy wingmen

Got mid way and gave up. The child was annoying. The angst was annoying. So much so that I didn't care enough to read on. I think the plot of single mum, father finds out 9 years later, pack gets involved wasn't that interesting to me.

I didn't realise that I needed this YA influenced book of star crossed lovers and brothers. The relationship was intense and loving but didn't work in high school. 7 years later, they meet up again and it's on. Shout out to Candy who is the best work colleague and friend a girl in this situation could ask for. And so lovely to read a book set in Australia, makes a massive change. The lingo does it for me.

I'm out. I just can't abide tiresome communication issues which drives the plot but yet still having sex every minute. Skipped to the end pages and exactly as I thought. On to the next one

Got to 8% and had to put this down. FMC has amnesia. She's been sleeping for a day to recover from the car accident. Soon as she has a bath and the towel falls down she's having sex with one of the brothers. Where is the plausibility, the attraction, any reason for having sex? Nowhere that's where.
