I hope you don't mind that I had a good giggle when I looked through your previous updates for this re-read, Candy 😂 I love how you bravely second-chanced the re-read knowing how terrible it was only to have your good faith challenged by an equally terrible re-read. You have my sympathy in full for a hardy effort though 😔 and to answer your question, I definitely think you can DNF a re-read - even if it's a tad unconventional and you bring up a debate-worthy question, second-read Candy is allowed to take it one step further than first-read Candy if my opinion is anything to go by 😁
