Bless Me With Bullets (The Sonnet) | Amantes Assemble

Just once let me die for the people,
Then I can live in peace.
Once I am wiped out for the world,
Then I can have my long awaited sleep.
Only when a bunch of bravehearts are sleepless,
Can the rest of humanity sleep in peace.
Only when a bunch of reformers are peaceless,
Will all the inequalities be appeased.
To hell with personal happiness!
To hell with the notion of personal and social!
There is no person, there is no planet,
Till the troubles of the world feel super personal.
Come all ye offended, charge at me
with your entire arsenal.
I won’t resist, come and bless me,
with your bullets of denial.

Representation is Degradation (The Sonnet) | The Peace Testament

“Reform the politicians, you ensure reform in society for a few decades. Reform the citizens, you ensure reform in society for centuries.”

“Representation is Degradation (The Sonnet)

Nationalism is but a precursor to fascism,
Representation is but a precursor to corruption.
Delegation is but a precursor to destitution,
Law-abidance is but a precursor to degradation.
Representation without accountability is just,
As undemocratic as taxation without representation.
Trading in one party for another is not change,
But merely the re-initiation of prehistoric division.
Democracy that shows no sign of nonpartisanism,
Is but a petri dish of prejudice most blinding.
Such a democracy stuck on representation,
Is but a silent dictatorship in the making.
Neither law nor party loyalty will elevate the society.
All my hope, therefore, lies upon civilian responsibility.”

“When the civilians have grown out of the need for government, and are capable enough to carry the responsibility of their society on their own, there will be no reason for the state to exist. Thus, having served their brief role in the evolution of society, all constructs of state, government and representation will go extinct on their own – just like the tail on our back disappeared when we had no use for them, once we started to walk upright on our feet, breaking free from our traditional habit of hanging from the trees.”

Friends with Darkness (The Sonnet) | Divane Dynamite

Most dread the very notion of dark,
Darkness strikes horror in their heart.
Yet darkness gives me a sense of calm,
I feel quite at home when in dark.
Darkness makes me alive,
Darkness gives me flight.
Darkness makes me aware,
Of the tiniest glint of light.
Darkness electrifies my dampened veins,
It pours back my nerves with vigor.
Just when everything seems to fall apart,
The mind awakens with unforeseen power.
So, never try to keep darkness at bay.
Once befriended darkness takes you a long way.

No Pain, No Hope (The Sonnet) | Himalayan Sonneteer

Heavier the pain, greater the hope,
But the language of hope is not inaction.
Real hope brings a sense of responsibility,
Whereas imitation hope induces stagnation.

Heavier the pain, stronger the purpose,
But all purpose is fiction without footwork.
Real purpose does not let you sleep at night,
Imitation purpose keeps you aloof from work.

Crueler the punishment, braver the love,
It is no love that avoids punishment.
Only half lovers try to keep pain at bay,
Soaked in pain true lovers emerge triumphant.

Crazier the torture, sweeter the memories.
There is no character if there is no crisis.

I’m Above The Law (The Sonnet) | Himalayan Sonneteer

Yes, I am above the law,
So is every single world builder.
It’s only the apes without brain who,
Are tamed by the medieval lawmaker.
If you are to be a civilized being,
It is your duty to rise above the law.
If you can’t tell right from wrong,
It is common sense you lack, not law.
It is nothing but a juvenile democracy,
That is founded on spineless law-abidance.
Civilized democracy instills accountability,
What it doesn’t demand is boneheaded obedience.
You have a heart, brain and spine, why not use them!
Stand up o citizen justice, and keep the law as servant.

I suffer, therefore I am (Loneliness Psychology, The Sonnet) | Armor of The World

Being happy alone is no sign of genius,
It is either narcissism or hypocrisy.
You’ve got to be extremely selfish,
To be happy without human company.

If your heart is alive and human,
Loneliness will cause you misery.
It’s only the self-absorbed animal,
Who don’t need people to be happy.

It’s okay if you are alone and miserable,
It is but a healthy mind’s healthy reaction.
Do not romanticize it with phony philosophy,
For derangement starts with self-deception.

Fact of the matter is – I suffer, therefore I am.
Life is but a cosmic dance between dusk and dawn.

Arise, O Atlas (Sonnet 1100) | Vande Vasudhaivam

Vakna, Stå upp, O Modige Atlas!
Ta världen på din axel,
Förkasta allt som är ojust.

Awake, Arise, O Atlas Supreme,
Take the world on your shoulder.
Denounce all roots of hate and hurt,
Wielding your humanitarian viking thunder.

I don’t write for creatures of the gutter,
I write for those craving for open skies.
If you can give up your golden fancies,
I’ll give you a world beyond the lies.

Despierta, levántate, oh loco amante!
El mundo entero está a tu cuidado.
Give up your aphrodisiac of wild ancestry,
We are human, cuando nos descubrimos en cada humano.

Soulmine | Vande Vasudhaivam

You are sanity, you are sentience,
You are the lifeforce of destiny.
You are conscience, you are concord,
You are the end of animosity.

Give up your chase of goldmine,
Labor in the caverns of soulmine.
You shall be rich where it really counts,
Beyond the dreams of animalkind.

If you must love, love without any agenda,
If they love you back, your heart grows softer,
If they break you, your heart grows stronger,
Either way, in act of love there is no failure.

Our mutual vulnerability is our greatest strength,
Across all insecurity let us be vulnerable together.
In hopelessness we are each other's compass,
In vulnerability we are each other's vigor.

United we are alive,
Divided we are dead.
Integrated we're lovers,
Divided we are duffers.

Intellect is not the answer,
Belief is not the answer.
These only amplify what we really are,
Good becomes great, jerk becomes jerker.

Be love and be light -
watch the fall of worldly fright.
Be free and be responsible -
watch the society take its flight.

Sonnet 1143 | Vande Vasudhaivam

Give me some sunshine,
Give me some rain!
Why the hell am I asking you,
When I’m the steward of my own reign!

Ship of society is sinking,
O Young and Bold, now hail the helm!
Come to the rescue of those lost at sea,
To hell with the nonsense of shame and fame!

My religion is to rescue the fallen,
My creed to care for the persecuted.
Faith, reason, nation, I heed none,
Obliterated in love heart is illuminated.

Shedding all fears both ragged and posh,
Let’s go play in the courtyard of the cosmos!
