Why America Exists

When oppression became unbearable, America was born - when discrimination turned extreme, America was born - when rigidity became intolerable, America was born. America was born of an unbending desire for freedom - America was born of a drive for self-correction - America was born of an urge for progression.

Yes we did many mistakes in the process, even committed horrible atrocities - we drove people off their lands to build a new world for our children - and nothing that we can do today can mend those atrocities of yesterday, but what we can do is to make a promise to ourselves to never repeat those atrocities of our ancestors no more.

It's time we become the new Americans - Americans with more accountability than recklessness - Americans with more curiosity than rigidity - Americans with more acceptability than prejudice - Americans with more inclusivity than discrimination.

There is no our America and their America, there's only one America - the United States of America. You see, ours is not just the United States of America, ours is the United States of Assimilation. And we must practice this principle to the letter and spirit everyday of our lives.

For example, we of all people cannot in right mind deny shelter to those seeking refuge, especially when we are both sociologically and economically capable of doing so. Whoever comes to these shores of liberty, in the hope of life, freedom and happiness, automatically becomes an American, by measure of the same determination and will that made our founding fathers set foot on Plymouth Rock escaping British bigotry, snobbery and barbarism.

Our very country is founded by immigrants. America was built by refugees, and as such, if this land can't be a refuge for the subjugated and persecuted, then it is an insult on our very existence as the great land of the free and brave.

Shake The World Savaşçı (The Sonnet)

Shake the world savaşçı,
The world is only a reflection of you.
Break the mold o kahraman,
In a civilized time these molds won't do.
Your story is the one of a warrior,
Not the one fighting with weapon.
You are the hero without arms,
Your power is your determination.
One person can end a war,
If they give all to the making of peace.
You are the answer to the world's prayers,
But you must keep your prejudice on leash.
Go sleepless, starving and unappraised if needed.
Be the guerra of inclusion and unite the divided.

Adopt A Neighborhood (The Sonnet)

Adopt a neighborhood,
Make their problems your own.
This is the only road to life,
Society’s hope is you alone.
Charity, security and world peace,
All these are cosmetic theory.
When you learn to live as human,
You'll see their actual foolery.
When our voices combine,
All noise turns melody of heavens.
Joy is amplified a hundred times,
We lose sense of all our burdens.
Diversity and progress will come alright,
Once you perceive beyond your selfish sight.

Clouds are but herald of sunshine | Amor Apocalypse

“Come, sit next to me.
As you will, so will be.
As long as you are next to me,
Even your silence is tranquility.

I know it hurts like the dickens!
Yet every wound delivers valiance.
At your every whim I am your servant.
But to every wound you are your treatment.

Your trouble is my trouble.
Be not disheartened if the world frowns.
Clouds are nothing but herald of sunshine.
Pain of today is tomorrow’s crown.

So I say, come, sit next to me.
As you will, so will be.”

“Gel, yanımda otur.
Nasıl istiyorsan, öyle olur.
İstemiyorsan konuşma, gerek yok.
Yanımdayken, sessizliğin bile sükundur.

Biliyorum, çok acıyor!
Biliyorum, bu dünya çok zalim!
Istiyorum ama soylemem – elimi tut!
Çünkü senin yaranın ilacı sadece sensin.

Senin derdin benim derdim.
Her dert insana cesaret veriyor.
Bulutlar güneş ışığının habercileridir.
Bugünün acısı yarın tacı oluyor.

Hadi gel, burada otur.
Nasıl istiyorsan, öyle olur.”

First Nature of Sapiens / No sabes desamor, no sabes amor | Amor Apocalypse

Broken beings are living beings,
One who isn’t broken isn’t alive.
To walk in the light is quite easy,
To walk in the dark is the walk of light.

No sabes desamor, no sabes amor,

Come, let us be pioneers of light,
Let us feast on the world’s darkness!
To drink poison and deliver elixir,
Is the first nature of a sapiens.

Roots and Chains | Amor Apocalypse

Culture can either further the cause of life,
Or it can hinder life, love and liberty.
If it hinders, it belongs in the dump,
If it furthers, it is an ally of humanity.

Rigidity is drag on expansion,
For it makes chains out of roots.
Roots give ground beneath our feet,
While chains only cripple all our move.

Even a flower can’t survive in last week’s water,
Yet you expect the mind to thrive that way.
Let the mind fly higher than known heights,
And all light and life will find their way.

With all our understanding of the speed of light,
We’re yet to cross the distance from heart to heart.
With all our fancy equipment of communication,
We are yet to listen to those unheard.

Superstition 101 | Divane Dynamite

Why does the mind crave superstition! It’s because superstition is a psychological apparatus for self-preservation. And it appears to us as truth because the only truth our brain is concerned with is the one that takes away our anxiety and aids in our survival, even if that truth happens to be just another lie our brain cooks up to maintain internal order.

However, neurologically speaking, there is no such thing as a mind without superstition. Your belief that you have no superstition, is just another superstition. So, it’s not about developing a mind without superstition, which is impossible, rather it is about being aware of the superstitions as much as possible, and reject those that are particularly harmful, for the self and society.

You don’t have to agree with everything others believe, in order to realize they are human. My teacher (GC), in his childish naivety, used to believe a lot of things that are sheer nonsense, but I still love him. When you love, you accept, when you lack love, you judge. Besides, he is the one who set me on fire for the world.

You see, disagreement and discrimination are two different things. And we gotta focus on eliminating discrimination, not disagreement. We gotta focus on being human, not on being superior to each other. Somos todos idiotas – we are all idiots. The sooner we realize this, the sooner we can behave wise.

Fundamentalism is not a neurodivergence, but a lethal neuropsychiatric condition | Sin Dios Sí Hay Divinidad: The Pastor Who Never Was

Fervor of faith is not the problem, bigotry of faith is the problem. Or to put it simply. Religion is not the problem, fundamentalism is the real problem. But we must be aware of what a fundamentalist is. A fundamentalist is not necessarily a person who takes the scripture literally, rather, a fundamentalist is a person who deems their own religion as the only true religion, and all others as heresy. Some fundamentalists do interpret the scripture metaphorically, and still manage to remain a bigot.

After all, you see outside, what is inside. So the point is, if you want to see integration in the world, first you gotta irrigate your heart, not your colon, of all division. Until you understand undivision, you won’t understand divinity. No sabes unidad, no sabes divinidad.

Even if you have never heard of Jesus, even if you have never heard of Buddha, even if you have never heard of Moses and Mohammed, even if you have never heard of Nanak and Naskar, you can still be divine. But if you never treat another person with kindness and dignity, you can never be divine.

It’s your behavior that makes you religious, not your belief. Besides, even in this day and age, if your belief still keeps raising walls, instead of bringing them down, it’s time you seek medical help. Because you see, bigotry is not a legal problem, it is a medical problem, just like alcoholism is a medical problem. Fundamentalism is not a neurodivergence, fundamentalism is a lethal neuropsychiatric condition, which requires immediate medical attention.

No Pain, No Hope (The Sonnet) | Himalayan Sonneteer

Heavier the pain, greater the hope,
But the language of hope is not inaction.
Real hope brings a sense of responsibility,
Whereas imitation hope induces stagnation.

Heavier the pain, stronger the purpose,
But all purpose is fiction without footwork.
Real purpose does not let you sleep at night,
Imitation purpose keeps you aloof from work.

Crueler the punishment, braver the love,
It is no love that avoids punishment.
Only half lovers try to keep pain at bay,
Soaked in pain true lovers emerge triumphant.

Crazier the torture, sweeter the memories.
There is no character if there is no crisis.

I’m Above The Law (The Sonnet) | Himalayan Sonneteer

Yes, I am above the law,
So is every single world builder.
It’s only the apes without brain who,
Are tamed by the medieval lawmaker.
If you are to be a civilized being,
It is your duty to rise above the law.
If you can’t tell right from wrong,
It is common sense you lack, not law.
It is nothing but a juvenile democracy,
That is founded on spineless law-abidance.
Civilized democracy instills accountability,
What it doesn’t demand is boneheaded obedience.
You have a heart, brain and spine, why not use them!
Stand up o citizen justice, and keep the law as servant.
