I'm also re-writing a sequel to "The Golden Thread".

The slightly less creative side is that I'm re-formatting the print version of "The Golden Thread" for re-release and looking for a publisher for "Finding Felicity." This business end of writing is a bit tedious, to say the least, but I know the end result is getting my work out there to readers, and I love hearing from them so that makes wading through the business much more bearable. How do you get inspired to write?

A lot of times I'll just start daydreaming and come up with a story line. "The Golden Thread" came out of an actual dream, where all the animals on my farm became human. My husband thought it would make a good novel, and encouraged me to write it.

Other times inspiration will come from something I see that will spark an idea. Most of my short stories were based on fairly insignificant things I saw that made me start asking, "How or why did that happen?" (less)
