Former high school teacher and university lecturer, Suze E Prescot (aka Essey Nelson) has lived and worked in Lancashire (according to its original boundaries) her whole life.
She loves cats and horses, and is, in fact fond of all animals. She loves reading, often reading five or more stories a week. She has no fave type of story, and her bookshelves boast detective and mystery, crime and spy, science fiction and fantasy, and plenty of humour. From Shakespeare, Austen and the Brontës, to modern indie authors, if it's well-written, she will read it.
Despite her catholic tastes, she tends to write romance, and will happily argue that most fiction falls under that banner.
