ISLAND PRACTICE on wheels! I’m excited to have been asked to partner with Nantucket Bike Tours to create a bicycle tour based on my book, Island Practice! Join this terrific bike tour company on an easy two-hour tour of beautiful Nantucket, highlighting the fun and eccentric stories in the book, which is the true tale of the colorful adventures of Dr. Timothy Lepore, Nantucket’s jack-of-all-trades doctor. Follow in the footsteps of the hermit Underground Tom, see where Dr. Lepore solved a homicide that stumped police, and more. Well, this is a nice surprise: The Island Review, an innovative and visually beautiful online magazine dedicated to all things island, has published a piece I wrote about a floating island. This was before I started working on my book "Island Practice," and it was quite a fun story to do - wonder if the island is still floating around.
