This list is for literature – especially fiction and poetry – written in Vietnamese and translated into English. It includes pre-modern, modern and contemporary works as well as some collections of folk tales and songs.

It is not intended for works originally written in English or other non-Vietnamese languages, including works written by expatriate/overseas Vietnamese and Vietnamese-heritage authors, or by non-Vietnamese authors. Such works are well worth listing, but belong in different Listopia lists (several of which already exist).
