You're welcome. I haven't read everything on here. But, When I run across any I'll add them. They seem rather rare.
I'm curious why someone added some of these. I don't remember there being F/F in the Mercy Thompson, Riley Jenson, or The Edge series for instance. But it's possible I have a faulty memory. I haven't read Psy-Changeling or Alpha and Omega series yet but I don't think they sound like F/F either...
I don't understand your question Trisan. The list is titled "F/F Paranormal and Urban Fantasy" they're supposed to ALL be F/F.
I know what you mean. Which is why I posted messsage #3. I hate when people do crap like that to just promote their favorite books. I kind of wish there was a way to remove books from lists when they clearly don't belong. It makes it difficult for people to find new things to read. I suppose I could make a list and put it in a thread in the F/F group but then people can't vote on their favorites. It also kind of defeats the purpose of a listopia list.
I came across something similar in another list about books you wish more people knew about. Somebody had gone and put New York Times best seller books in it. I wish people would respect these lists more.
Possibly put in the description what F/F means so all the straight people out there don't get confused. :)
Yeah, I wish there was a way to prune the lists. I mean, there are a bunch of non-F/F books on this list, and voted up to the top, which makes it a big pain to sort through for actual F/F. If books are flagrantly mis-categorized or added wrongly, they should be able to be removed...
I just dropped by to find out what F/F meant.Librarians can prune lists. I'll add a note to the description and get rid of the books that I've read that I know aren't lesbian fiction, but I'm probably not going to be back to this list to maintain it.
I've gone through and removed everything that was obvious (to me because I read them) and doesn't feature f/f(lesbian) pairings. Authors included in removal are: Richelle Mead, Nalini Singh, Kresley Cole, Karen Marie Moning, Jennifer Estep, Keri Arthur, Ilona Andrews, Laurell K. Hamilton, Patricia Briggs, Kim Harrison, Shelley Laurensten, Yasmine Galenorn, Eileen Wilks, Thea Harrison, and Nora Roberts.I've never personally read the following but they're suspect to me, so I'm going to look at them further: Santa Olivia, & Saints Astray by Jacqueline Carey; She's No Faerie Princess, & Wolf at the Door by Christine Warren; Conspiracy Game, Night Game, & Shadow Game by Christine Feehan; Never Cry Wolf by Cynthia Eden; Hunter's Moon by C.T. Adams; and Blue Moon by Lori Handeland.
If you know if any of those do actually belong on this list, post a comment. If you know of any others that shouldn't be here, comment.
I'll try and keep this list clean if everyone can let me know if something shows up on here that shouldn't be there :)
Thanks!

Thanks Trisan! I've removed those, as well as Christine Warren, C.T. Adams, Lori Handeland, and Cynthia Eden. The rest look like they belong, or I'm not really sure of them so I'll leave them. :)
the books by Connie Suttle have no f/f content so they don't belong here although they are very good
Erin wrote: "Uh, maybe we can start a new list, because this one is pretty much ruined..."Laurel K. Hamilton isn't F/F though her recent books (Anita Blake Vampire Huntress series), since Harlequin, have begun to feature F/F relationships surrounding the protagonist.
P. Briggs' Mercy Thompson series has never featured any that I can re-call.
I've never read a Nora Roberts that included F/F content.
Richelle Mead's Succubus series has ONE F/F scene, but then I haven't read the last 2 books.
Kim Harrison's Hollows series had a budding but struggling relationship between the protagonist and a lead. Sadly, in my estimation, they moved on.
Yasmine Galenorn- only read one from the sisters' series. It DID have a F/F scene..... Yeah.
Most of that doesn't count but, hey.
The rest, Angela, I have either not read or hadn't completed the series.
It is majorly lovely though to at least have a starting point. I'll check the books' reviews (I know. Tedious) to confirm the presence of actual F/F content.
Peace

Adams; and Blue Moon by Lori Handeland."The two Jacqueline Carey novels, at least, definitely belong -- the romantic relationship at their core is a lesbian one between Loup and Pilar. (There's a M/F/F polyamorous triad in the background too!)
@Phoenixfalls - Thanks for confirming! That's what I was getting from the blurb and some of the reviews I've read so I thought so, but it's good to know :)
Rachael wrote: "Do NOT read anything by Julia P Lynde or Robin Roseau. Both authors are written under pseudonyms for J.P. Larson (aka Joe Larson). Who is in fact a heterosexual male that has been playing lesbian i..."Rachael, do you have more info on that? I'm not really wanting to support someone that purposefully misrepresents themselves (by something other than a pseudonym) and all the author bios are very distinctly *not* referring to the author's gender/orientation.

Santa Olivia is Happily gay (f/f), so don't be turned away by the hetero beginning. It almost got me too.
Kim Harrison's Hollows has some f/f moments but they are predominantly about 'one of' the main characters and not THE main/lead character.
Newer L.K.Hamilton Vamp hunter series has f/f elements concerning the lead but not enough to make the series f/f themed
Great List -- comprehensive and has a few that I found surprising as additions as for not having strict f/f content; however, paranormal and UF, I agree with the choices.
If there is a librarian still keeping an eye on this list. There are a couple of books I noticed that are f/f but not Paranormal or UF, so they should be removed from this list. The Devil Inside (Cain Casey, #1)
Protector of the Realm (Supreme Constellations, #1)
The Girls From Alcyone (The Girls from Alcyone #1)
Merchantman (The Girls from Alcyone #1.5)
Unknown Futures (Night Stand, #76)
Undercover Passions
Gift of Time
Arielle: Immortal Awakening by Lilian Roberts is NOT F/F and should not be on the list. "War Games" is SciFi (albeit lesbian) and also probably should be removed.
As the World Dies trilogy, by Rhiannon Frater does not seem like it belongs here. One of the main characters is said to be lesbian early on, but like halfway through the book she's like "oh i'm actually bi" and the two main characters are getting all swoony over some guys... granted i stopped halfway through the first book, but i was like "... i didn't want to read this..."
Thanks P. and Tracy! - I've removed Arielle Immortal Awakening (not f/f) and War Games (sci-fi) and The First Days (not f/f).
Dan, I'd missed your comment! Sorry about that. I've removed The Devil Inside (not PNR/UF), Protector of the Realm (sci-fi), The Girls From Alcyone and Merchantman (sci-fi), Unknown Futures (sci-fi). Have you read Undercover Passions? I ask because it's listed at AllRomance as being a werewolf PNR story? Also, Gift of Time apparently has time travel and spirits...?
No, I haven't read those two yet. You're right that a couple other sites have them listed in the paranormal category. Though, I can't seem to find any reviews mentioning that aspect either. I guess we should leave them in for now until someone here actually reads them and can confirm for sure.
Yeah, I couldn't find any reviews that said it either, but want to err on the side of caution - if anyone can confirm either way I'm happy to adjust/remove :)
I think people are confused as to what goes on this list, though how that can be i'm not certain. The description of MARTYR, a new one on the list woulda been great, cept its about a boy and an incubus... not exactly F/F...
Alas! The list is looking nice and pruned on the first page - all the books are f/f - albeit m/f weeds crop up with some springiness on the second. If I might make a list of the male/female books that authors have jammed into this list for the page-views:
"Surprisingly Supernatural" by S.J. Drum
"Moonwarriors" by Rusty Nugent.
"Neverdark" by C.S. Einfeld
"The Book of Shadows" by James Reese
"Neophyte" and "The Wiccan Diaries" by T.D. McMichael
"Lazarus Cane" by Jeremy Kline
"The Nightlife: Las Vegas" by Travis Luedke
"Echoes of The Past" by Alex Just
"Blood Lies" by Blakely Chorpenning
"Tethered" by Brandi Leigh Hall
"Fae" by C.J. Abedi
Sorry to any librarians in advance. Alas for goodreads and its ability for anyone to add but hardly anyone to retract.
EDIT: no librarians yet - but more Rusty Nugent books.

I've removed not f/f books: Neverdark, Moonwarriors, Guardians of the Night, The Book of Shadows, The Wiccan Diaries, The Nightlife: Las Vegas. Other books were not on the list. Apparently they had already been removed.
I have removed the following from page three of the list: For not being lesbian;
"Holidays in Hell" by Erzabet Bishop,
"Don't Be a Hero" by Chris Strange,
"Lion" by D.S. Sage,
"Flesh and Blood" by Kristen Painter
For having no paranormal/fantasy elements:
Red Light by J.D. Glass (lesbian romance);
The Girls From Alcyone by Cary Caffrey (lesbian Science Fiction); Punk and Zen by J.D. Glass (lesbian romance);
Afterglow by Stein Willard (lesbian Science Fiction);
Her Master's Courtesan by Lily White (lesbian ...erotica?)
If someone could help me out by telling me if these books have lesbian main characters I would be grateful:
"Fire" (Graceling Realm #2) by Kristin Cashore
"Song of the Mourning Dove: Fairy Tales" by Victoria Champion
"Blood Oranges" by Kathleen Tierney,
Removed for not being Lesbian or f/f:"The Reapers" (The Hunted, #1) by Ali Winters
"Army Of The Winter Court" by Ali Winters
Love this list! Thank you for whoever created it. F/F is under-represented in literature, in my opinion, so it's nice to see there are some resources.
Inviting comment here: what would be the consensus on me removing some of the 13 or so Thaumatology books from the front page? Case for removing them: Thaumatology #1 is ranked quite highly, and I can't imagine someone reading book #11 without looking at #1 first. The purpose would be to bring more diversity to the main scroll, and to prevent "vote gaming."
Cons: removing books from lists is not something to go about doing without consulting the users first.
P. wrote: "Inviting comment here: what would be the consensus on me removing some of the 13 or so Thaumatology books from the front page? ..."I say no, since other series have books that are not the first of the series on the first page. If you want to remove everything except book#1, then you should do that for every series, not just this particular one (and then the list description can be edited to say users should only add book #1 in a series).
