"I realized I love Java for how strong and structured it is, and I love JavaScript for how loose and free it is, they both give unique experiences.
In java you can get an error for using "int" instead of "INTEGER" class, while in JavaScript everything is an object you can play with as much as you want!
The similarity in name is not intentional, but I keep thinking of Java as the older, wiser but close-minded brother."

Kevin Wilson
“I'm not joking when I say that I never liked people, because people scared me. Because anytime I said what was inside me, they had no idea what I was talking about. They made me want to smash a window just to have a reason to walk away from them. Because I kept fucking up, because it seemed so hard not to fuck up, I lived a life where I had less than what I desired. So instead of wanting more, sometimes I just made myself want even less. Sometimes I made myself believe that I wanted nothing, not even food or air. And if I wanted nothing, I'd just have to turn in to a ghost. And that would be the end of it.”
Kevin Wilson, Nothing to See Here

Sayaka Murata
“I wished I was back in the convenience store where I was valued as a working member of staff and things weren’t as complicated as this. Once we donned our uniforms, we were all equals regardless of gender, age, or nationality— all simply store workers.”
Sayaka Murata, コンビニ人間 [Konbini ningen]

Ibrahim al-Koni
“The desert was a merciless place. When the curse of shame sticks to a person there, he is stricken from memory.”
Ibrahim al-Koni, Gold Dust

Sayaka Murata
“After all, I absorb the world around me, and that’s changing all the time. Just as all the water that was in my body last time we met has now been replaced with new water, the things that make up me have changed too.”
Sayaka Murata, Convenience Store Woman

Sayaka Murata
“She's far happier thinking her sister is normal, even if she has a lot of problems, than she is having an abnormal sister for whom everything is fine.”
Sayaka Murata, コンビニ人間 [Konbini ningen]
