“ذاتَ يـومٍ
رَقصَ الشعبُ وغَـنّى
واحتسى بَهْجَتَـهُ حتّى الثمالَـةْ
إذ رأى أوّلَ حالَـةْ
تَنْعمُ البلدةُ فيها بالعدالَـةْ :
زَعَموا أنَّ فتىً سَبَّ نِعالَـهْ
فأحالوهُ إلى القاضي
ولم يُعْدَمْ
بدعوى شَتْمِ أصحابِ الجلالَـةْ !”
― اني المشنوق اعلاه
