whew, first ffm book…very sexy

whew, i’m glad i got to end my 2025 year of reading on a decent note!

what a ride this book was. unrequited love books always sting but i think this is the first one i read where the person is in love with them for 20 years before something happens…like wow. had me damn near being okay with huggie moving on after the “third act breakup” lol but ofc i’m glad he and melanie made it work.

…okay, full transparency…i read 90% of this book on b/w the 13th & 14th and didn’t read the rest until today (the 27th)…

i didn’t really enjoy the story much and then got bored *shrug* this was just messy for absolutely no reason plus i HATED the shit that happened after nick found out about reed…that behavior was DISRESPECTFUL and DISGUSTING

welp! at least i finished it. on to the next!

whew, what a wild ride. i think this is the first betrayal book that i’ve read (at least in a good min) that had enough groveling from the mmc that i’m fully satisfied with her forgiving him

temper and bones are just meant to be. they had such a heart wrenching story but a heartwarming ending. i loved it. no notes or suggestions from me haha.

now i have to decide if i wanna continue this series…

whew, i think this is the first book i’ve read where the fmc (who was brutally betrayed by the mmc) gets her *well-deserved* revenge through physical violence

temperance (formerly elyna) did to bones what that MONSTER did to her over those 4 days and i was rooting her on ngl…bones took it (and the group punishment) like a champ though

i wonder if (and how) she could forgive him…guess i’ll find out soon

soooo good! i love a good fated mates (well, in this case “linked” mates) trope and i didn’t even know how significant linked mates would be in this book until i read it! on top of that, it’s been sooo long since i read a vampire book (parker is hybrid and leaned more to his werewolf side lol but still) and i need to seriously read more of them!

love that olivia and parker are a power couple in this too!

i’ve had this book saved in my kindle library for damn near FOUR MONTHS, saving it for a rainy day, and I’M SO HAPPY I FINALLY READ ITTTT. i think dominic is gonna HAVE to go on my phenomenal book boyfriend shelf because he is a DREAM MAN

i liked this sm! very heavy with the “daddy kink” but such a nice romance. there’s a 24 year age gap and it makes me wonder if this is the largest age gap between (human) characters in a book i’ve read…not 100% certain but i think so lol

i’m surprised i finished this as soon as i did bc it’s a longer book than i wanted to read rn, but that just tells you how much i enjoyed it haha

not me realizing halfway through the book that this is connected to the other omegaverse book i read not that long ago…


this was about as filthy as i thought it would be. had some plot but nothing that great. i was able to finish it though, which is always a good thing lol

i’m saaaaad! i didn’t know they were gonna have feelings for each other before the pregnancy trope takes effect! i thought they were gonna have hot sex, and not see each other again until zelda found out she was pregnant! but they’re already falling for each other AND THEY CANT EVEN BE TOGETHER and ben fucked up any thing that could’ve happened by being a ‘realist.’ :((( i need them together rnnn!

what a wild ride! i loved reading violet and roman’s love story. they had a bittersweet start, sad middle, but a happy ending.

i really love this series lol. i’m sooo ready for clover and amos’s book! (id also love a book about roman’s mom and dad bc roman and his mom are so alike lmao)

well, that’s it for this series (for now) on to my next adventure!

reading this book has led me to the unfortunate belief that i found a trope (that could occasionally be) more painful than unrequited love…forbidden love. bc, my goodness, the love shared between violet and roman is so beautiful, but the fact that they can’t be together (at least at the moment) hurts so much. ESPECIALLY considering roman is betrothed to violet’s AWFUL twin sister. like tf is wrong with vivian?

another day, another cute romantasy. loved this. amelia and rennick’s relationship is hot.

this book was really cute! my only grievances are 1) the lack of communication trope (i H A T E that trope sm) and 2) dallas being an annoying dick. (i loved dallas in one night only so his character disappointed me in this ESPECIALLY since logan wasn’t a man whore nor was he an asshole. but whatever ig.)

fuck me sideways, millie and logan are so hot for each other…love that

but logan’s familial situation is so goddamn sad. he needs a good family. thankfully millie has just that. plus dallas will get over it. logan’s a good guy.

i hate to say it, but THANK FUCKING GOODNESS LOGAN HAD A PANIC ATTACK! i’m sorry but this lack of communication trope made reading damn near half of the book INSUFFERABLE. i was trying to be understanding of millie’s feelings but MY GOODNESS GIRLIE JUST HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH HIM. he CLEARLY wouldn’t treat you like parker did! i really don’t like disliking the fmc but i was losing my patience with her fr.

my biggest grievance is the fact that there’s a leader with the guys. don’t know if i like that (in this case at least, but i don’t think i ever have honestly). i wish they were all equals especially since the leader had some weird possessive, jealousy issues and was always the one she claimed in public bc of it.

this book was heart wrenching but it had such an amazing ending to their storyline.

stacey and kade’s story is one that i will always remember. i’m so elated that they have their happy ending and have healed from the horrors that were thrusted upon them.

kade also made up for his actions towards stacey TENFOLD in this book. i’m so satisfied.
