Flora Burgos is a USA Today best-selling romance author from the great state of Texas.

She found the escapism of reading at a very tender age, devouring the bodice rippers of yore, long before she'd even dreamed of a first kiss. Her first book boyfriends were swashbuckling pirates and roguish Highlanders who weren't perfect but made up for their brutish behavior with a good grovel and a happily ever after. Reading has always been an essential part of her life, and she loses herself in a good book at every opportunity.

Today, she's a mid-30's romance author and mom to a teen boy and a couple of confused, lazy pit bulls. She annoys her husband as often as she can, and she survives on poor sleep choices, too much caffeine, and too little water.
