Buat cewek yang lahir tanggal 14 Februari ini, menulis merupakan caranya berbagi pikiran, perasaan, mimpi, imajinasi, dan cita-citanya dengan orang lain. Ia ingin tulisannya bisa menggugah dan menginspirasi pembacanya, sama seperti tulisan kedua tokoh yang pertama-tama menginspirasinya untuk menulis: almarhum Umar Kayam dan Jostein Gaarder.

Banyak yang mengira Windhy mengoleksi kutipan orang-orang terkenal (mulai dari Ralph Waldo Emerson sampai Detektif Conan) yang sering ia selipkan dalam novel-novelnya. Padahal sebenarnya ia hafal! Kata-kata yang bagus itu langsung menempel hingga sewaktu-waktu dibutuhkan, ia tinggal mencomotnya dari ingatan dan sesekali mengecek ke Oom Google supaya lebih akurat.
