Our first two lambs (twins) of the year were born last night

I officially decided to replace The Name of the Wind with Piranesi for my January TBR btw, I tried starting TNotW a few days ago and came to the conclusion that I need to finish some of my big/complicated SFF series first before getting into another one. I’ll revisit it after I’ve read Wind and Truth, maybe.

I fear this might put me in a slump, I think I need to take a break from it

Look at me working on my monthly TBR (only The Name of The Wind left after this and I’m considering switching that one out)

My body is a machine that turns free stuff your kindle deals into 100+ owned books I’ll never read but decided to get anyway just in case I’m ever craving straight mafia reverse harem omegaverse or a scammy self help book

Had to pause mid-chapter because sometimes certain medical stuff makes my skin crawl, picked up TCFD instead and immediately had to read about needles going into skin (which made my skin crawl more)

I was so tired when I got home yesterday, I updated for book 4 instead of this one

Went ice skating twice today, once with my dad on a random lake and once with my childhood best friend at an ice rink and got laughed at both times for falling 💔😔 it’s not my fault I haven’t been on the ice in probably close to a decade

I’m going ice-skating on Saturday (at an ice rink) and maybe also tomorrow and/or Sunday (on a frozen lake) and I’m so excited about it (might also play some hockey with my dad on the lake 🙂‍↕️)

Was robbed of both my regular advanced history class and my additional history class today, life is cruel

I read exactly 500 pages of this book today on my commute and at school

I‘m like 700 pages into this book rn btw 🫩 I’m fairly certain this is gonna be my first non 5 star out of the main Stormlight books, the length of the books is starting to tire me out and I don’t think the Sanderlanche can make up for it this time, nor do I have a slump to blame

As a native German speaker, the way Henri being German is handled is already making me suffer severely. I was hoping the thing in a previous book about his accent sounding Eastern European was a one-time mistake but it’s becoming very clear now that it wasn’t

10% a day for the rest of the week and I’ll be good

Seeing the huzz tomorrow after he just sent me two tiktoks in one evening hell yeah (he’s notorious for never texting anyone ever)

It is dawning on me that I am turning 18 in half a year (6 months and 12 days but who’s counting) like bro I could just get a tattoo before the end of the year and no one can stop me (also I’ll hopefully be on T before the year’s over, so that’s epic)
