Slightly cringe dialogue moment and rushed romance. Ugh.

So another god bound Skedi and Inara together?

I think out of all the POVs so far, Elo is the weakest. He isn't uninteresting, just I don't get a lot from him in comparison.

They're finally at Belnraden.

You went too far, Skedi.

While the prose is not bad, there's a lot of filter verbs and moments of telling where sensory details could've strengthen it.

I do wonder if Skedi is one of the gods who survived the war and got diminutive/reincarnated as another god.

They lost the rest of the group!?
