This list is for books about female dominance or Fem-dom, meaning in a BDSM relationships and BDSM scene, the dominant partner is female. Often a dominant woman, she may prefer to be called a domme, femdomme, domina, or dominatrix, depending on context or personal preference. A female dominant in a master/slave relationship is often termed a mistress. Don't see your book on here? Add it!
★★PLEASE DO NOT ADD BOOKS THAT ARE BDSM WITH NO DOMINATRIX. ALSO DO NOT ADD NON BDSM BOOKS THAT SIMPLY HAVE STRONG FEMALE CHARACTERS - THAT IS NOT THE ONLY CRITERIA TO BE CLASSIFIED AS A FEM DOM. THIS IS SPECIFIC TO THE BDSM LIFESTYLE.

Well, that's a good question...definitely not as a main character. Kathryn posted that book...maybe she meant there is a Domme mentioned??? Shadowlands really shouldn't be on this list. It's really meant for books with fem-doms as MAIN characters. And you are welcome!
Kathryn...I was looking at a few of the books you added and I was thinking you mistakenly added them... The shadowlands books do not have fem-doms as main characters...neither does Lora leigh's book Surrender. You think you could go in and delete them from the list? We are looking for books with female dominants / mistress / female masters as main characters. Thanks!
Ok, sorry Kathryn, never heard back from you, so I went ahead and deleted the books I listed in message 5. We are looking for books about female dominance or Fem-dom, meaning in a BDSM relationships and BDSM scene, the dominant partner is female. Often a dominant woman, she may prefer to be called a domme, femdomme, domina, or dominatrix, depending on context or personal preference. A female dominant in a master/slave relationship is often termed a mistress. We are NOT looking for a book that just mentions a Domme. Thanks for understanding :-)

Thanks! I totally hate it when people start messing with the list when they have no clue what they are doing!
Yasmin!! Please do not add books that are not Fem Dom Books... you have added several that are not even BDSM.

Plenty of books by Rachel Kramer Bussel have female dominants, for example She's On Top, Yes Ma'am, Please Ma'am. And there is Under Her Thumb by D.L. King.
I added
Before anyone says this is about a Dom. Scarlett is one of three main characters in the book (3 POVs) and she is Reece's Domme. (Reece is a female submissive.)

I see that in the description, but thanks for the heads up Cari!
I had someone ask if our first book would qualify. It has Q ( female) who is Sabrina's Domme. But Q is a switch and is also Jude's submissive. I think at least one other book here may have a switch. Candace Blevins book.I haven't read that one though.
Ours is

22's Diary made me so wet, it was running down my leg at work.Reads like an actual diary, her entries include text conversations with her sub husband whom she makes eat her lovers semen, and pegs on a nightly basis. Forced bi fellatio as well.

Thank you for putting up this poll Bookie ! I'll have a pretty list for our next gang bang challenge!
